People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, just a plane ride away!

Sight Video

This video art was amazing. I can actually see this happening in 15 years from now. It was so well executed and perfectly performed. My favorite part of this video was when the guy opened the fridge and saw what he had left and when he started to cut the cucumbers. I think that would be so practical nowadays. It is scary to think that technology will own our lives but at the same time I can't help feeling excited about this new virtual world.

Golan Levin Website

In Levin's website he has displayed most if not all his artwork. It was amazing to see all the artwork and  by looking at them you could tell he has spend his whole life coding. I really liked interactive faces and eyes synchronized to the person who was in front of the camera. For what I saw in the website he has been working around the computer field since almost 20 years ago. I think he is really experienced and I would love to take one of his classes!

Golan Levin Interview

Levin addressed main points and gave advices to all undergraduate and graduate students in the media or digital art world. I'm even starting to worry that I do not know how to run a processor but I guess I will figure it out along the way. I also think he had a good point when he said that when computers or electronic devices become cheaper, people start experimenting them in numerous ways. I think that's what makes the device even more rich and powerful. I am really excited to try the sensor machines and  hopefully 3D printers and all this new stuff with be handy by the time I'm still working in the field because I would love to be able to print and present 3D projects. Technology in art is definitely something that advances at the speed of light!

Beyonce has been a feminist since she started her career. She started with her song Survivor in her group Destiny's Child to today's latest album BEYONCE. I attend one of her concerts and in her concert she mentions that all musicians in her band and dancers are women because women are capable of doing anything without men.

This is the link to her video of one of her latest songs: Flawless

TLC is an American group that was very famous during the 90s. The group is composed by Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Tionne "T-Box" Watkins, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez. I include them in this group because when I listen to this song it reminds me of the nineties and it was on the radio all the time.

Video Arte

Video Art is sooooo cooollll! I absolutely love watching the ideas people come up with, it's an entertainment and art at the same time. Because of these types of videos is why I chose to minor in digital arts. I think it is so interesting to learn this because it is in our future.
In the page videoartes.com there is pretty much everything but these three were the ones that caught my attention the most.

This one was probably my favorite. It has so much happening and the way the newspaper is torn and wet is amazing. The effects on the little animations in the characters as well. I completely love this one.

This video was more of an informational and documental but I think it is cool and something I could do with my country as well.

Absolutely amazing! My second favorite.

Massive Attack

I think I might have heard of Massive Attack before but I obviously did not pay close attention to download their songs. I think they have a really mellow and calm flow in their songs meaning that they are very relaxing. I liked their music and is something I would listen to because I really like this type of relaxing music. Although the lyrics and music videos are kind of creepy, I would say they are a great group that still has potential to win more awards today.
